Why I Could Never Be a School Principal

One Word: MEETINGS

How many meetings can one person attend? Just ask your local school principal.
Here's a sampling:
1) District-Wide Principal Meetings
2) High School/Junior High/Elementary Principal Meetings
3) District Committee Meetings
4) General Faculty Meetings
5) Campus Committee Meetings
6) PTA Meetings
7) Booster Club Meetings (multiples of these)
8) Department Chair Meetings
9) Campus Assistant Principal/Counselor Meetings
10) Specialized Committee Meetings (more multiples)

That's TEN...and right off the top of my head. Plus it doesn't take into account parent conferences, meetings with community/business leaders, etc.

The term "Meeting" rhymes with "Beating." Coincidence?
