The Hate RETURNS!

It's that time of year...

TAKS is over.
AP Exams are into their second week.
Prom is coming.
Graduation looms less than one month in the future.

I CANNOT STAND THEM.

It's nothing personal. They're actually good students and nice people. AND they're reasonably pleasant this year, a phenomenon I don't always experience.

But I am DONE. Today I finished the LAST copies for the semester, which ends on June 4. I'm THAT far ahead.

I CANNOT STAND THEM. Not because of who they are or how they are, but because they're keeping me here. I'm ready to move on. The best part of any school year is that IT ENDS. There's a finality, a closure that you don't get in many other jobs. There's something refreshing about getting to stop, if only for 2 months. But they're in the way right now, so I CANNOT STAND THEM.
